A rare fantastic antique 14K gold Egyptian Revival necklace & pendant by famed Austrian jeweler Carl Bacher of Vienna set with 3 old mine cut diamonds, lapis, a genuine natural pearl and complemented by fine enamel work. The piece is in excellent estate condition. It is signed / hallmarked with the Austrian gold mark for small 14K fine articles of a fox head and A 4 for Vienna used between 1867 - 1922. The pendant and necklace are both signed with the CB makers mark for Carl Bacher. The necklace measures about 27.5" long, the pendant measures about 1.6" long by .80" wide by .20" thick and the entire piece weighs a total of 20.8 grams. The three diamonds are about each approximately .10 carat and H color Vs2 clarity. Carl Bacher, famed Victorian Austro-Hungarian Jeweler of Vienna is most known for his Archaeological Revival jewelry, especially in the Egyptian revival style. He exhibited his work at several of the great Worlds Fairs and won numerous awards including a gold medal for his work in the 1878 Paris Worlds Fair
